The Danger of Love

Her dark satin slip is a sheath,
He lay over her, she beneath,
“Sir, what is your name”,
“Well Jack is my fame”,
A long black knife hums from its sheath.
A photorealistic, atmospheric gothic portrait of two clearly adult Victorian lovers lying on a bed and embracing, each resting their head on the other's shoulder. The man is bare-chested and naturally hairy, with a sinister unsettling expression and faint grin. The woman is demurely dressed in an opaque, high-necked lace negligee, looking visibly shocked and alarmed. Victorian bedroom setting, dramatic candlelight, rich dark wood, antique linens, tasteful non-explicit composition, no nudity beyond the man's bare chest, cinematic realism.
