| At The Smack Garden |
Such splendor
Beauty
Rolling, flowing rows of flowers
Color unending, in brilliance and grace
Breathtaking, really.
I look across that scene in amazement
How fascinating is the complexity
Of this dichotomy before me.
Such unspeakable beauty
Belying such unfathomable horror.
Indescribable ecstasy.
Non-defeatable addiction.
Unstoppably fatal.
The birth, life and death of the drug
Beginning so innocently and perfectly.
Inside so kind of a mother
The horrific bastard child of
This lovely flower
